New York Fashion Week 2019 Good to Know Topics

New York Fashion Week 2018 - top things to know this Year!

We are so excited about this year's Fashion Weeks. Fist city will be New York, are you ready? We have listed a few things to keep in mind while heading to the shows!

Several designers are taking a break from New York Fashion Week this season. Adam Selman, Public School, Helmut Lang,  and Kendall + Kylie are not currently on the NYFW calendar, and neither is Colovos, which recently switched to a pre-collection-only schedule. You won’t see Victoria Beckham at her usual post-show Balthazar brunch, either: She’s celebrating her label’s 10th anniversary with a major show at the London Fashion Week.
Kicking off on September 6th and running until the 14th, there are plenty of events to watch out for. From designer debuts to closing parties;
It's Ralph Lauren’s golden year!
Ralph Lauren is celebrating 50 years in the business and is set to mark the occasion by holding a combined show and party.
Escada, the legendary brand of the 80s and early 90s are gearing up to stage it’s first ever runway show. With a 40 year heritage, it will be interesting to see what its new global style director, Niall Sloan’s (previously at Hunter and Burberry) fresh vision will be for the house on September 7th.
Hugo Boss's new direction;
It seems that The German brand isn’t revealing much, but speaking to Singapore’s The Peak earlier this year, its chief brand officer appeared to drop a hint about the direction the brand is taking, saying: “We realized that when we brought our women's pieces closer to our tailored offerings, they were much more successful. We want to bring the men's and women's pieces closer, in terms of aesthetics."
Rihanna Returns to NYFW—But Not With a Fenty x Puma Show
We didn’t have to mourn the calendar’s absence of Fenty x Puma for long. Actually, Rihanna will be hosting a New York Fashion Week event—this time for her lingerie collection, Savage x Fenty—on September 12. This should be surely parties you won't want to miss out —you’ll be able to order the Fall 2018 collection immediately at
